Magic Power Coffee is the world’s first aphrodisiac coffee. It is growing rapidly by word of mouth and there are many multi-level marketers that are leaving their currant companies to join the Magic Power Coffee bandwagon. MPC has been around less than a year, but already gets thousands of daily search results on Google. What does that mean? There are people interested in it. It is gaining popularity. It works.

Magic Power Coffee is easy to make. You literally just pour boiling water into a cup and stir. It is already sweetened and works in about 30-45 minutes. The stimulating effects work on both men and women. It’s really an easy sale I mean everyone wants better sex right?

Magic Power Coffee pays via a matrix system that offers a check match on people that you personally sponsor. The matrix is 3 levels wide and 9 deep and there is lots of money to be made in retail sales as well.

MPC comes in an easily sell-able carton that can be displayed right at a cash register and sold for $16 a box (contains 2). Selling this product at retail establishments geared towards adults will be easy. Liquor stores, adult book stores, pool halls, night clubs, some gas stations and vitamin stores, etc.

Check out this great video review about the product and the business opportunity.

Find out more about ordering Magic Power Coffee – click here

Pros
There is only one product to sell. You don’t have to try and learn so much about so many different products.
Check match pays you the same as the people you personally sponsor when they personally sponsor someone. (Retail sales not included)
This company is really pushing this product and marketing the hell out of it at trade shows and online.
It’s new, so really a great ground floor opportunity.
It’s not expensive to join.
Can sell online or at retail establishments.
The company offers banner advertising options for you to copy and paste on to any website or blog that link right to your distributor site.
Everyone is interested and most people want to try it. (Even if they won’t admit it.)

Cons
It’s a new company so that is always a little scary.
People will always ask …Does it work?…Just like anything else, works differently on different people.
It’s caffeinated, so taking it at night can be an issue for some.
They pay out monthly vs some network marketing companies that pay weekly.
You may end up taking to people about sex occasionally, so if you aren’t comfortable with that, this might not be for you.

Ever wonder what the rest of the world is saying about your network marketing company? I do.

There are many ways to track a brand on the web, but an easy one is using Google Alerts. When you sign up for the alerts, you are notified daily on any activity regarding the brand name on Google. It is pretty accurate, not 100%, but gives you an idea of what other distributors are doing. Maybe they are blogging or posting press releases, etc. Kind of gives you an idea of what you could do also.

Take it a step further, schedule alerts for some of your top competitors. See what they are doing that your brand distributors aren’t. Maybe it’ll launch some creativity on your part.

Try it, it’s free. Just set it up and watch your email.

It may take you a while, but you know 100 people. Some people can write this list out pretty quickly, but others may have to really think about it. Regardless almost everyone can write a list of 100 people they know.

With platforms such as Facebook and Twitter gathering 100 friends is much easier today than it was 10 years ago.

When you launch your business, notify your 100 friends, but don’t be too pushy otherwise you may turn them off. If you write an email, don’t mass send it. Copy and paste it each time with a personal message to your friend. It will make them more apt to remember and respond to it, plus if you send a mass email it may end up in their junk mail.

Let your friends know that even if they don’t need or aren’t interested in the product that you would really appreciate if they could share your contact info with anyone they think might be a potential client.

Post your business on Facebook (as long as your policies approve of that) and limit your business updates to once a week or twice a month. If you post too much, your friends will inevitably get sick of hearing about it.

See who responds to your email and make sure and for the ones that don’t, pick up the phone and give them a call. Simply ask if they got your email and once again (don’t be pushy) just ask if they would mind helping spread the word to their friends.

If you are able to mail samples to 100 friends even better. You don’t want to get too elaborate or it will cost too much, but even if you can do a business card with a hand written note and a sample of the product you are selling, it will create an impression. They may not buy anything at the moment, but they will remember that more than the email.

The main form of communication for you with your customers will most likely be email. It is after all the most convenient and cheapest way to send a message.

That said, use it to your advantage. An email signature can be better than a business card. Your customer may not be able to find your card with your website or number, but they will easily be able to find the email with all that handy information.

Each email program is different, but they all have the ability to create a signature.

Here are a few things for you to consider putting in yours.

First and Last Name (Associate ID#)
Phone Number
Website (make sure it is a link)
Disclaimer…You can find these on many websites, but you really should create one that is suited to your business. If you aren’t sure what to put, consider emailing the compliance department and asking them if they have a generic one that you can use.

Below the initial signature, you may want to add any specials that are available for them to take advantage, but keep it brief. Your signature should not need an email of it’s own.

When you sign up to sell a product, there are somethings you will need to succeed. Some can wait, but some should not. If you are involved with a company that offers business cards, order them. Make sure you have cards with your name and phone number on them. If there is a website, it is best if you have your own URL and can redirect it to the replicated site form your business. This will guarantee you that if people find your card a year later, the site will be yours. See sometimes companies will change their policies, therefore possibly changing the URL of your replicated site. If you own your domain you can make sure it points to you whereever you are. (Sorry, I know I got side tracked there.)

Anyway, make sure you get business cards and product catalogs. Get yourself some white labels and add your contact info to the front and the back of those catalogs. Take them around with you to places you frequent (nail salons, beauty salons, doctors offices, coffee shops. Ask the owners if they would mind if you left your cards and a few catalogs in their waiting area.

The thing is you have to think outside of the box. Where else could you leave catalogs?

Don’t Do It!!

Starting a home business takes money. Plain as that, so at first, yes you will need to supplement your venture with what is most likely your personal checking account. Now a days most direct selling companies will pay you with a pre-paid credit card. They will ‘load’ that card with your commission either weekly or monthly depending on the company.

What has worked well for me is to strictly use that card to pay for things related to that specific company. In other words, if there is money in the card account, then I am making money and if there isn’t, well then I am not.

When you get in the habit of using your personal accounts to pay for things like auto ship, marketing materials, postage, etc it becomes difficult to determine if you are really making a profit or not. That said I would recommend that you try my method. It’s a pretty clear cut way of knowing if you are in the black or not.

Pre-paid credit cards can be used just like regular credit cards, but be smart about how you use them because they do charge for certain transactions that most debit cards would not, such as taking cash out. So when possible, use it as a credit card and avoid the fees.

So I just lost quite a bit of volume from a program I am in because I misunderstood the autoship policy. See I will always avoid having an autoship if possible. Many times, you can still get paid without having autoship as long as you have a minimum volume. Well in this case, you can still get paid, but not on all your group volume. In my case today we are talking about $4,700 in volume that is now gone.

After a lengthy call with customer service and in my opinion several different responses and variations of answers to the same question, end result the volume was gone and I need an autoship. Funny thing though in this case, reps just have to be signed up for autoship, but you never actually have to order anything. Sounds weird right? It is. Basically you have to log in to your account once a month and post date your autoship if you have enough volume to be paid and considered active.

I can only guess that this company must make thousands of dollars on reps that forget to post pone the autoship, so if your fine print says you have to have autoship, make sure that it is fiscally in your interest to do it. In other words if you aren’t making more money than the autoship is costing you, don’t have an autoship.

End result, I made a rookie move today and it cost me a couple hundred dollars. I feel better about it now that I blogged about it. Maybe someone else can save their volume by reading this.

I have heard of Arbonne® for years. I had never tried it until last month. I tried the RE9 line and really liked it. The main thing I liked is that the consultant gave me samples of the products with no pressure to join. Once I decided I was going to sell Arbonne, of course I signed under her.

The Arbonne starter kit costs about $100. They also outsource their consultant websites so there is an annual fee for that. (bummer) At any rate, the kit came very fast and this is what I got.

Lots of information, samples, a cute bag and some documentation to hand out if I need it.

Pretty good I think, but I still like Votre Vu’s starter kit better.

At any rate, back to Arbonne. I set up my site within 10 minutes. It is very easy and they do allow you to make edits and customize it a bit more than most replicated sites I’ve seen. I guess that’s why they charge $120 for the year. I went ahead and put my 866 # on my site and this morning had my first call for Arbonne. I was not prepared, but the lady that called me was. She was great. She had all her item numbers and knew exactly what she wanted. So far so good.

Your first instinct is to obviously talk to your friends, family and co-workers about your new business. In many cases this is ideal. After all they will most likely be supportive right? It’s tricky though because some people feel like you are being too pushy or presumptuous that they would want to order from you. What if they have a problem with the product, then what if they can’t return it? They will likely have some resentment about it toward you.

Consider other options in your customer pool. Think about where people that would use your product hang out. Maybe the gym or salons?

Let’s say you sell Isagenix™ Cleanse Products. First of all, it’s not cheap, so presuming that your family will want to try it and even more so…stay on autoship…is not realistic. Who would use this product? Go there. Contact your local gym and ask them if you can set up a table on a busy day and have some samples and cards to hand out. See if you can do this on a weekly or bi-weekly basis so people will become curious. Ask if you can post a flyer with your information. Don’t be afraid, just ask. Leave brochures for the gym employees (with your contact info) so that if they are on a break, they can browse through it.

Don’t stop there. Who else wants to lose weight and get healthy? Well, who doesn’t, but women at salons are great. They have a lot of time on there hands to read a brochure and learn about the product. Another option would be to ask the salon owner if you can leave some brochures in their magazine racks and also even better if you could give them some samples of the meal replacement shakes to they can try the product and hopefully share the information with their clients. WOM Marketing (word-of-mouth) at it’s finest.

My point is, there are many alternatives other than just your family and friends.
