I am a stay at home work from home mom. I worked for years in retail until my husband finally found his dream job which allowed me to stay at home. Sounds great right? It was, until the years passed and the kids grew up and I got bored.
Fast forward to now.
A minority (less than 10%) of MLM “independent consultants” ever make any money even though it is a billion dollar a year industry.
The purpose of this blog is to share my experiences with you about what has worked for me and what has not.
I will tell you now that it is rare to find a quick way to make money online. The web is competitive and consultants are becoming more and more savvy. If this is the world you want to be a part of, prepare to spend hours and invest in yourself. It may take 2,3 or 10 companies before you find the one that works best for you, but learn from each one. Build your network and learn to brand yourself, not just the products you are pitching. Be careful when you see the ads that lure you to “Make Money Online”. Most are too good to be true.
Do I have a hidden agenda? Well obviously I would love to have you want to work with me, but that’s no surprise. However, you certainly don’t have to. I really write because I like to and it helps me meet great people and open new avenues of opportunity.
