When you sign up to sell a product, there are somethings you will need to succeed. Some can wait, but some should not. If you are involved with a company that offers business cards, order them. Make sure you have cards with your name and phone number on them. If there is a website, it is best if you have your own URL and can redirect it to the replicated site form your business. This will guarantee you that if people find your card a year later, the site will be yours. See sometimes companies will change their policies, therefore possibly changing the URL of your replicated site. If you own your domain you can make sure it points to you whereever you are. (Sorry, I know I got side tracked there.)
Anyway, make sure you get business cards and product catalogs. Get yourself some white labels and add your contact info to the front and the back of those catalogs. Take them around with you to places you frequent (nail salons, beauty salons, doctors offices, coffee shops. Ask the owners if they would mind if you left your cards and a few catalogs in their waiting area.
The thing is you have to think outside of the box. Where else could you leave catalogs?
